"Art is anything you can get away with."
- Marshall McLuhan
I have always had a fascination with media, its purpose and its delivery. Toiling in various mediums that range from photography to silk-screening to desktop publishing. Inspired by a number of broad influences (medical anatomy, Egon Scheile paintings, vintage Tex Avery cartoons, Kath Kollwitz posters, etc), graphic design has become both my work as well as an integral pastime. Since 2004 I have worked on numerous projects under the guise of Malcontent Media. A design company of one, my fundamental goal has been to create striking designs that utilize my interest in art as a form of communication.
Since the inception of Malcontent Media, I have tackled numerous mediums to suit a wide range of projects. The eclectic assortment of projects has ranged from conservative corporate branding and identity campaigns to hand painted event posters. |
